The objectives of the SNO:
- Formation of students' skills of independent research, sustainable motivation to education;
- Engaging students in research activities;
- Deepen students' knowledge of tourism disciplines and skills in tourism and hospitality;
- Development of skills to work in a creative team, to share experiences;
- The formation of close cooperation between teachers and students through the interchange of information and knowledge;
- Preparation of future teachers to work in the departments of ITT
Tasks SNO:
- Create a student team and contribute to the development of his life;
- Informational support of student academic life, timely information to students about the planned research activities and opportunities to participate in them;
- Encourage students to master the skills and research skills;
- Education of the creative attitude to their profession through research activities;
- To guide and motivate students to future research activities in graduate
To perform the tasks of SSS members together with teachers and with their participation, provide the following services:
- The organization of competitions for the best research work;
- Conducting student conferences;
- Participation in tourism fairs;
- Participation, organizing and conducting tours;
- Exploring the domestic and foreign experience in the field of professional tourism education;
- Is jointly organized by the teachers of the experimental work on the problems of professional tourism education;
- Preparation of scientific research, publication of scientific works of students.
Students' Scientific Society of the Institute of Technology Tourism is a voluntary association of students of the Institute who are actively involved in scientific-organizational and research work. SNO was established in 2008, the Academic Council of the Institute. In a short period of activity of SNO is involved and to assist in the institute's activities, such as Open Day, an annual Interuniversity Student Scientific Conference "Management of the XXI Century - the sustainable development of society"; linguistic festivities across countries and continents, etc. Students take participate in intercollegiate conferences and parades, for example Laptsevich Alesia, now 4-year student, was the medalist in the exit conference held at the branch RSCU Ivanteevka was dedicated to the study of social processes in contemporary Russia (March 2009)
Forces CHO was produced, "Information Bulletin S.N.O.", organizes conferences, competitions, master classes. As a result of intercollegiate student scientific conference "Management of the XXI Century - the sustainable development of society" (24 April 2009) released an electronic collection of articles by the authors, the conference participants. In order to improve the skills of working with modern computer technologies for students of the institute April 21, 2009 was a master class on the program «Power Point» head. Department of Information Technology Vladimir P. Tsikin. The students listened with great interest the statement, which accompanied the presentation, and receive answers to their questions. FDN is involved, and possible assistance in organizing and conducting tours, which is part of the learning process.
One of the latest events - Vnutrivuzovskaya Olympiad "You, me and tourism", which was attended by 5 teams from 1 to 4 courses (November-December 2009). Olympics included 3 stages, a variety of different meters healthy dose of originality. No student who participates not regretted it, everything was really good.
Great support in organizing and conducting activities of SSS have Yermilova Diane V. (Vice President for Academic and Research), Queen Irina (vice-rector at the organizational and educational work) and of course without the close cooperation between teachers and students would not have achieved the successes that were achieved during this time. Interested in helping the organization of scientific activity of students faculty chairs of the Institute: Kazmina Elena Gennadievna, Holodtsova Irina, Kolchinsky Yuri L. Chernenko Valentina Gurevich, Pavel Yu, Julia V. Demidov and many others.
Today in our institute has all the conditions for professional growth of students who are ready to scientific work, which creates a leadership ITT, headed by the Rector - Pirozhenko Natalia Timofeyevna.
So if you have any ideas, desire and strength to work for the development of tourism, to join the Student Scientific Society! Your achievements, too, will be the building blocks that make up the growing scientific and building tourist Sciences! Strive for the better! You, of course, do it!
